Biodesign is understood by many as biomimetic design or biomaterial design.
But it doesn't stop there. Biodesign is a banner that brings together design of biology, design with
biology, and design from biology.
Especially design from biology, it shows that neural networks, organic materials, metaverse, bionic technology, blockchain, evolutionary algorithms, machine learning... can be understood as biodesign.
This online "Biodesign" exhibition hopes to continuously update and expand our understanding of biodesign through a long-term, expandable format.
In this exhibition, we have selected 12 bio-design works to display the personal insights of different designers on materials, products, textiles, structures, machinery, computing and other fields under the framework of bio-design.
The online exhibition will serve as a long-term, scalable platform for the continuous collection and presentation of "biodesign" works.

生物设计会被很多人会理解成为仿生设计或者生物材料设计。但生物设计不止于此。生物设计是一面旗帜，将生物学的设计，利用生物技术的设计，来自自然启发的设计聚拢在一起。
特别是“来自自然启发的设计“，它昭示着神经网络、有机材料、元宇宙、仿生科技、区块链、进化算法、机器学习……都可以被理解为生物设计。
本次展览，我们挑选了12件生物设计作品，分别展示生物设计的框架下，不同的设计师对于材料、产品、纺织品、结构、机械、计算等多个领域的个人见解。
线上展览将作为一个长期的，可扩展的平台，持续收集和展示“生物设计“作品。

Biodesign can be a way of using natural resources to explore future life at all levels and how we can become a more sustainable society through bioprocessing.

In this work, microorganisms are used, combined and connected to machines and transformed. By transforming imperceptible data in natural elements into different perceptual experiences, the author looks for hidden rules and patterns, and multi-level relationships in natural elements.
这个作品中微生物被使用、组合和连接到机器上，并进行转化。通过将自然元素中不可感知的数据转化为不同的感知体验，寻找自然元素中隐藏的规则和模式，和多层次关系。
